On November 16, 2019, Miami hosted the official opening of the unique cultural project “Cinemagic”: the exhibition features works by contemporary Russian artists inspired by the art of cinema. The event was held at the Art Emporium Gallery, located in the most unusual and artistic district of the city – Little Havana, on the day of the 500th anniversary of the capital of Cuba, and United three types of art – painting, literature and cinema.
Each of the Russian artists surprised the audience with their creative response to the project’s theme – “the Magic of cinema in art”. So, the author Yulia Mamontova presented the social work “art Lovers”, where she raised the topic of indifference of residents of the modern metropolis to the cinema, which was replaced by gadgets and youtube.
